The growth trend indicates a weakness in the labor market and has a negative impact on consumer spending and, consequently, on economic growth. The data above the forecast strengthen GBP, while the data below the forecast affect the national currency negatively. It is predicted that the indicator will be reduced from 28.3K to 24.2K applications in April.
